Chico is the most populous cityh in Butte county and home to Chico State University. Chico offers a more urban atmosphere including many of the “Big Box” stores and more shopping and dining opportunities than other locations in Butte county. Chico has a population just shy of 90,000 people and has a unique downtown area as well as “Bidwell Park”, which is one of the largest in the country boasting approximately 2,500 acres of land.
