Oroville and Butte Valley are unique gem’s in Butte county landscape, Oroville is the county seat and has both suburban and rural areas. Outside the city limits of Oroville including Butte Valley are generally more rural areas and some locations cater more to agricultural, horse properties, livestock and generally offer larger parcels. These areas offer terrain varying from flat land on the valley floor to steep mountainous terrain in areas such as Berry Creek, Forbestown, Concow, Yankee Hill and more.
